Who Can Go on These Trips?
Each trip tells you who can go on the trip. All trips are open to Air Force active duty military, TRs, ARTs. Some of the trips include families. It’s all based on the type of funding we get for these programs. The Air Force gives each base money to offer Airmen – and in some cases their families, a safe and fun way to relieve stress from deployments and the demands of military life.
How can we do such great trips for only $10??
These are “Single Airman” and “RecOn” programs. The Air Force gives each base money to offer the military – and in some cases their families, a safe and fun way to relieve stress from deployments and the demands of military life.
The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) provided funding for the Air Force to develop Single Airman Programming Initiatives. The Single Airman Programming Initiative is an Air Force initiative, endorsed by the office of the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force (CMSAF), and operated through the installation’s Force Support Squadrons (FSS). The Air Force created the Single Airman Programming Initiative because the 2010 Caring for People Forum, 2011 Single Airman Summit, and single Airmen focus groups indicated there is a need to implement programs to support single Airmen.
